If you know me, you know I LOVE sleep. If I could, I would get 10 hours every night and be a very happy girl! This week is National Sleep Awareness Week, and I'm celebrating with Crane & Canopy. I am sharing some of my sleep ready bedroom essentials that help me to get a restful night's sleep.
One thing that helps me get a good nights sleep is making sure I'm ready for my day the next morning. If I prepare for the next day, I'm less stressed going to bed the night before. I always start my day with a cup of coffee so I get my coffee maker ready to brew before bed. I also pack my bag and pick out my outfit.
This Night Night Balm by Badger has a really soothing lavender and chamomile scent that puts me in a sleepy mood. I get this at Whole Foods- it's made for kids but it works for me! Bonus: I also use it on planes to help relax on long flights.
Of course, my number one sleep ready routine is reading a book. I obviously love reading so it's a wonderful way to end the day, but it also helps me to drift off to sleep and is a better alternative than staring at my phone screen scrolling through Instagram for hours.
