I recently made a trip up to The Cloisters to take photographs for my latest read, Tell the Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt. The main character, June, spent a lot of time at The Cloisters with her late Uncle, and it became a very special place to her. I can certainly see why- this is a beautiful castle that centers around medieval history and art. This is a really photo-heavy post, since it was so beautiful and the lighting was perfect. I have to admit that I had never heard of The Cloisters prior to this book (which probably makes me an idiot), but I am so happy I went- it was gorgeous.
That's the secret. If you always make sure you're exactly the person you hoped to be, if you always make sure you know only the very best people, then you won't care if you die tomorrow.
Why You Should Read It:
This is an emotionally charged story that has received rave reviews.
