This song is my jam. Put it on repeat - I have a lot to say about it. I've always found this song strangely empowering- I feel like it's actually a nod to feminism, especially when you watch the music video. The whole song is about a girl who is so dope Marilyn Monroe and Joan of Arc can't even compare - a bold statement, Pharrell, but I feel you. Females today are that dope. We can be whoever we want to be, do whatever we want to do, and embrace feminism however we see fit. And the video features so many different types of girls and so many different personalities; I can honestly see any one of my friends in this video. My rating: 👍😍🙌 Bravo, Pharrell.
