from the books :: tory burch: in color

I love my copy of Tory Burch: In Color signed by Tory herself which I received a few months ago.  This is an incredible book that provides a glimpse into Tory's life.  She included book recommendations, personal photos, food and drink recipes, among other things.  I had wanted to try a recipe out of this book for awhile, so we decided to shake up some margaritas and bring them to our Memorial Day picnic with some friends in Central Park.  They were delicious!  I highly recommend you try them at some point this summer! :)

1.5 oz tequila

1.5 oz Cointreau

1.5 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

Ice

Slice of lime

Directions

Fill shaker with ice and add tequila, Cointreau and lime juice. Shake vigorously and pour into glass. Add a slice of lime.

Why You Should Read It:

This is the perfect addition to your coffee table.  The photos and colors are beautiful, and Tory is an amazing role model for women - she's an entrepeneur with an uber successful business, a working mom, and insanely stylish.
